Most Effective Hair Loss Treatment

Hair loss, or alopecia, a condition which affects both men and women, is the state of losing or lacking hair on the head. The rate of hair loss vary from person to person.
Hair loss causes:
- In men, the hormone dihydrotestosterone causes a gradual miniaturization and eventual loss of hair follicles that are genetically susceptible.
- Hormonal changes - Pregnancy, birth control pills, menopause
- Anagen effluvium - Permanent hair loss caused by the destruction of hair follicles
- Physical stress - Surgery, illness, anemia, rapid weight change
- Emotional stress - Mental illness, death of a family member
- Thyroid abnormalities
- Medications - High doses of vitamin A (sometimes present in diet supplements), blood pressure medications, gout medications
Hair Transplantation
Hair transplant is the only permanent method of hair restoration in which one's own hair from the back and sides of the head are extracted and implanted on front in the bald area. The transplanted hair maintains its own characteristics; color, texture, growth rate, and curl, after transplantation and regrowth.

Hair transplantation is a cosmetic procedure performed on men (and occasionally on women) who have significant hair loss, thinning hair, or bald spots where hair no longer grows. In men, hair loss and baldness are most commonly due to genetic factors (a tendency passed on in families) and age. Male pattern baldness, in which the hairline gradually recedes to expose more and more of the forehead, is the most common form. Men may also experience a gradual thinning of hair at the crown or very top of the skull. For women, hair loss is more commonly due to hormonal changes and is more likely to be a thinning of hair from the entire head.
Procedure of hair transplantation:
Hair transplant surgery begins with injections of local anaesthesia into the donor area. The anaesthesia will ensure that you feel no pain. Once the area is frozen, your doctor will begin removing the donor strip. Donor strip removal takes about 45 minutes. During this part of the procedure, you will be lying face-down on a comfortable table very much like a massage table.
Once the strip removal is completed, your hair transplant doctor will close the donor site with surgical grade stainless steel staples designed for cosmetic surgery. While your doctor is closing the donor site, technicians will begin separating follicular units from the donor area.
Benefits of Hair Transplantation :
- Aesthetic change
- Increase willingness
- Increase self-esteem
- very safe procedures
