10 Secrets to Weight Loss Success Stories

weight_loss_chart.jpgHere's what I discovered about some people who got the most successful weight loss
  1. They had someone to push through tough workouts. In some cases, it was a personal trainer, others have used a video coach, and some have used a friend.
  2. They kept a food diary to keep them on track. This allowed them to see exactly what they were doing in their bodies, and make changes to their diet when the need arose.
  3. . They used a support group. Some family and friends used, others have used Weight Watchers to keep them motivated, honest, and morale.
  4. . They stayed away from the temptation. Having proven themselves, they do not do well in the face of temptation, they simply stayed away from sugary foods, and fatty. As the old saying goes, out of sight, out of mind.
  5. They effectively used the diet by eating the right amount of calories based on their goals, portion control, and make healthier food choices.
  6. They combined weight training with cardio. Most have weight training at least 3 times a week and cardio everywhere 3 to 6 times a week. Many have also found that doing something they enjoyed (ie swimming, cycling) helped to stay on track. Others have found that working with a purpose (ie training for 5k, 10k run) helped to push themselves more than they would have otherwise.
  7. They stayed on the scale. It is discouraging to step on the scale and not see a change. The scale is not always a good indicator of fat loss so most just stayed out of it completely, or only weighed once a week or once a month.
  8. If they slipped, they were not beaten. They agreed and left. They took one day at a time if they are wrong today, they started fresh the next day and continued.
  9. They found other ways to deal with stress. Most people who were extremely obese or overweight got that way because they dealt with stress or emotional situations while eating. Once they realize they have committed themselves to not be an emotional eater. Most have found other ways to deal with stress, such as taking a walk, run or a workout.
  10. They were not afraid to examine their lives. Discovering why they ate more, they were better able to deal with stress and emotions. Some have even discovered that they were addicted to food. Through self-examination, they could go to the root of the problem and deal with it differently than they had done all their lives.
as a conclusion : Do your best , motivation to lose weight is 70% of diet. If necessary, hire one of your friends or your partner to play the role of coach and rail. Or, make your diet with a group of people. Seeing others will inspire you to keep you hanging too.
